Aurora is a 3-4 year old, 8lb female Chihuahua mix who is looking for a patient and understanding adopter. Her past is unknown, but it's clear she hasn't had positive experiences with humans. Since arriving at our rescue, she has made incredible progress with her foster family and now allows gentle touch once she feels comfortable. We're confident her confidence will continue to blossom! Aurora would do best with someone who can provide a calm and stable environment where she can continue to learn that humans can be safe. She needs a special person or people who understand that building trust takes time. If you're the kind of adopter who is drawn to dogs with a little more to overcome, Aurora might be your perfect match.
