Yahoo, born around April 1st, 2026, is an adorable and intelligent pup with a blend of Aussie and Belgian Malinois traits. He's currently participating in our Fresh Start prison training program, where he's learning valuable early commands and house training. These high-drive, intelligent puppies are full of energy and personality. While they can be a handful, they are incredibly loyal and devoted companions for the right family. Yahoo will thrive in a home that enjoys training, staying active, and providing a smart dog with a job to do. He's not a couch potato and will reward committed owners with a deep bond and a whole lot of love.

Ideal Home

Yahoo needs an active home that enjoys training and keeping a smart dog engaged. He would not be a good fit for a household looking for a laid-back companion.

Ongoing Health

All puppies receive necessary vaccinations, de-worming, and are microchipped. Yahoo will require a spay/neuter surgery and a rabies vaccination, which are included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Yahoo is participating in our Fresh Start prison training program, learning basic commands and house training. However, he is a puppy and a high-drive breed, so continued training and engagement will be essential for his success.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• If adopting an unspayed/unneutered dog, you must live within an hour of the shelter.
• You will initially "Foster to Adopt" and finalize the adoption after the spay/neuter surgery.
• You will need to bring the dog back for vaccines and exams prior to surgery.

Transporation

Yahoo is currently in our Fresh Start prison program and will need to be transported back to the shelter for meet & greets. Transportation to the shelter is available.
