About Honey

✨ Meet Honey ✨

Honey’s name fits her perfectly — she’s sweet, loyal, and full of quiet love. She was abandoned on the side of the highway and rescued just in time. Anemic, underweight, and scared, she’s now healthy, vaccinated, spayed, and ready for a fresh start.

• 🐶 3 years old, 19 kg • 🐶 Lab/Shepherd mix with a loyal heart • 🐶 Sweet with all people, mid‑energy, very smart • 🐶 Protective of her home, loves car rides • 🐶 Best with non‑dominant dogs, no cats, kids 10+

Honey is the kind of dog who tries her hardest to make her person happy. She’s clean, food‑motivated, and just needs a little leash work. Currently living peacefully with 10 other dogs, she’s more than ready for a home of her own.

💛 Honey survived being left behind — now she deserves someone who will never leave her again.

Honey is with a small local shelter in Bucerias, Mexico. They aren't on Petfinder so we list a few dogs for them in hopes they find their forever home. If you're interested in Honey, please complete the application on our website and we will forward the application to the rescue.

Adoption Fee: $540 USD/ $600 CAD

📝 How to Apply Submit an application here 👉 www.adogsnewlife.org/adopt

We’ll review your application and may contact you for more info or a home check.

Approved adopters are matched with flight companions (flight angels) traveling from Puerto Vallarta. You’ll meet them at the airport to welcome your new pup home.

⚠️ It can be challenging to secure Canadian flight angels during May and June, so dogs may need to fly into the US and be picked up at Peace Arch Park at the border if a Canadian flight angel is unavailable.

We have successfully completed many adoptions over the summer with volunteers helping to bring dogs to their adopters at the border — this remains a great option to keep adoptions moving forward. 🐾✈️❤️

💡 Please follow us on Instagram & Facebook and share our mission. The shelter is full — every adoption saves lives.
