Nueces

Nueces is a soulful pup with expressive eyes that will melt your heart. She stays close to her human family and is learning to enjoy belly rubs. While she's not a huge cuddler, her presence is comforting. Nueces is a smart and quick learner, responding well to guidance, though her instincts sometimes take over. She's a protective member of her pack, both human and canine, and will bark at unfamiliar things, but she's quick to warm up after an introduction.

Nueces is food-motivated and trains well with treats. She knows "sit" and "gentle" in English and Spanish. She is still learning not to jump for food and how to use a leash. She can hold her bladder overnight and aims to potty away from her living area. She doesn't play with toys yet but enjoys interacting with other dogs. She has not chewed on household items.
