Shelly is a charming young lady with a heart full of love to give! This 62-pound spayed female is a unique blend of American Pit Bull Terrier and Australian Cattle Dog/Blue Heeler, boasting a stunning blue coat with distinctive white markings. Born on March 23, 2023, Shelly is eager to find her forever home. While she's still mastering her house-training skills, her eagerness to please suggests she'll excel with consistent guidance. She's a social butterfly with other dogs but prefers to be the only feline in the house, as she doesn't get along with cats.
Ideal Home
Shelly would thrive in a home that can provide her with consistent training and a loving environment. She needs a home without cats, but can do well with other dogs.
Ongoing Health
Shelly is up-to-date on her shots, is heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. All dogs are spayed or neutered (unless medical issues prohibit the surgery), up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, heartworm tested (if old enough) and treated if necessary. They are also de-wormed and start heartworm and flea prevention when rescued. This is continued until adopted.
Training & Support
Shelly is still learning house training and would benefit from a patient and committed adopter who can continue her training journey.
