Krockett is an incredibly loving and good-natured dog with a heart full of joy. He’s always smiling, loyal, polite, and wonderfully intelligent. He is a playful and energetic male Labrador mix, approximately 1 year old and weighing around 55 lbs. Krockett was rescued in March 2024 and is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. He thrives on fun and laughter and would make a fantastic companion for an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures and plenty of playtime. He is already crate trained, walks beautifully on a leash, and absolutely adores car rides, making him the perfect partner for all your family outings and adventures.
Ideal Home
Krockett would thrive in a home with an active family that enjoys outdoor adventures and plenty of playtime. Ideal adopters will be homeowners with a fenced backyard and have an open conscience regarding the needs of rescued street animals, understanding their need for protection and education. Experience in dog behavior and training, along with high tolerance and patience for rescued puppies, is highly preferred. Please note that Krockett is not yet house-trained.
Ongoing Health
Krockett has completed his spay/neuter, DHPPI and Rabies vaccinations, Bordetella vaccination, deworming, and a negative heartworm test. He has also received a health certificate and his vaccination booklet is available.
Training & Support
Krockett is not yet house-trained and will require ongoing patience and positive reinforcement. Adopters should have experience with dog behavior and training and be prepared to dedicate time to his continued education and integration into your home.

Transportation
Krockett is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, and is ready to travel to the East Coast and PNW if adopted. A transport fee of $250.00, paid by the adopter prior to departure, will apply and is provided by a transport company.
