Angie is a charming 4-year-old pittie mix, weighing around 56 lbs. She's a professional snuggler, a champion sunbather, and your perfect low-key companion. If you're looking for a dog with all the love of a pit bull but with a much more relaxed demeanor, Angie is your girl! Her foster lovingly calls her a "house hippo" due to her wonderfully stocky build, perfect for cozying up on the couch. She's easygoing, affectionate, and fits seamlessly into family life.

Ideal Home

Angie would thrive in a home with children around 6 years or older who can appreciate her calm and gentle nature. She would do well with another mellow, respectful dog, but she'd also be perfectly content as the only pet. Angie needs a home without cats, as she finds them a bit too interesting.

Ongoing Health

Angie is a rescue, so breed and age are estimations. She is crate trained and has been confirmed to be a wonderful houseguest. She occasionally thinks shoes and magazines are toys, but this is easily managed by keeping tempting items put away or by using her crate when you're away.

Training & Support

Angie is crate trained and generally well-behaved. She can be left in her crate for up to eight hours. Her only noted quirk is a tendency to chew on shoes and magazines, which can be managed with supervision and by providing appropriate chew toys.
