Meet Flag! Flag is a charming 1-year-old Plott Hound mix who journeyed to us from Georgia in 2024. He arrived with an orthopedic condition and has since undergone successful corrective surgery. Flag is recovering beautifully and is eager to embrace life at a comfortable, steady pace. Due to his recovery, he doesn't require a large yard; regular walks and low-impact activities are perfect for keeping him happy and healthy. Flag has a low to moderate energy level and would flourish in a calm, supportive home. He gets along well with other dogs and truly enjoys canine companionship. Flag can be a little timid in new situations and greatly benefits from patient, gentle handling. While there's no indication he wouldn't do well with children, he would thrive best in a home where his boundaries are respected, as is important for any dog. With time, consistency, and kindness, Flag will continue to build his confidence and blossom into a wonderful companion.
