Meet April! This 8-month-old, 32 lb sweetheart is a delightful blend of playful energy and gentle affection. While we suspect she has some pit and lab in her, her most defining trait is her loving and tender personality. April is a soft and submissive girl who does wonderfully with larger dogs, happily following their lead. She can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but with a little time and patience, she blossoms into a wiggly, full-body tail-wagger! Her favorite things include soft toys, squeaky toys, cozy naps, and gentle snuggles once she feels comfortable. April is looking for a family ready to guide her growth with structure, patience, and positive training. She's at a perfect age to form a strong bond.

Transportation

April is currently fostered in Ridgefield Park, NJ. Transport is available nationwide via the rescue's USDA-certified transport system to various drop-off locations, including WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada (pickup in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). Texas adopters must pick up in the Houston area.
