We call him Sammy, but maybe you can call him yours? Sammy is simply so sweet! We can't get enough of this boy. He's a delightful mix of playful energy and cozy cuddles, making him part bunny and part couch potato. You might catch him doing adorable little bunny hops, and we're sure the NBA could use someone with his athleticism! Sammy is happiest with a toy in his mouth, whether it's a game of fetch or tug-of-war. But don't let his active side fool you; he's also a champion cuddler who would love to spend all day snuggling if you let him. He's friendly with everyone he meets and loves dogs of all shapes and sizes. Sammy is truly a catch, and you might just meet the love of your life!
Ideal Home
Sammy would love a yard to play in, or at least a couple of walks each day to get his energy out. He enjoys playing with other dogs, so a home with canine companions would be great! He also does well with older, less energetic dogs. Sammy can entertain himself with a chew toy on the couch, so he can truly make himself at home anywhere.

Training & Support
Sammy loves treats, which will make future training a breeze! He's patient and can easily wait his turn for things like sharing a banana with his foster siblings. He has learned to wait by the door before walks and does well in his crate, even eating in it. Durable rubber toys are recommended as he enjoys shredding stuffing!

Transporation
Sammy is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. Transport may incur an additional surcharge. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
