Zeus

Zeus was born around August 20, 2018 and is a happy, 90-pound German Shepherd. He came to us because his beloved human passed away. Zeus adores humans of all sizes, but we're recommending no small children because he's unaware of his own size. He's wonderful with other dogs, but cats are too much fun to chase, so he cannot live with them. Zeus rides beautifully in the car and walks well on a leash, and he's also happy to hang out with you off-leash with occasional reminders to come back.

Ideal Home

Zeus would do best in a home without cats and with children who are old enough to understand his size.

Ongoing Health

Zeus has some weakness in his back end and will need NSAIDs, such as Rimadyl, to keep him comfortable. He also had some hair loss on his side due to a flea infestation, but it's growing back quickly. As an XL breed, Zeus will require ongoing veterinary care, so be prepared financially and emotionally for this.

Training & Support

Zeus walks well on a leash and can be called back when off-leash with occasional reminders.

• Adoption fees are $350.00 and include spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccines, micro-chipping & registration, worming, and flea control.
