Pete

Meet Pete, a charming and resilient Terrier Mix who's ready to bring a whole lot of scruffy joy into your life! This handsome fellow is approximately 2 years old and weighs about 15 lbs. Pete's coat is a marvel – thick, plush, and magically low-maintenance, a perfect blend of tan and white. He’s not just a pretty face; he's a social butterfly with a heart of gold, greeting everyone with a wagging tail and an open heart. Pete is wonderfully polite with his four-legged peers, getting along famously with other dogs and showing remarkable respect and peace towards indoor cats.

Ideal Home

Pete would thrive in an active suburban or city home with a securely fenced yard where he can safely play and explore. He's a perfect companion for daily walks, weekend hikes, and cozy snuggles. Due to his size, Pete is not suitable for homes with children under 5.

Ongoing Health

Pete is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, and on preventative. He is also micro-chipped.

Training & Support

Pete is a clever and observant boy who is ready to match the rhythm of his humans. His social nature and respect for boundaries suggest he will adapt well to new routines and environments with patient guidance.

• Our dogs live in loving foster homes, so we do not have a physical facility.
• Meet and Greet events are held on the first Saturday of each month at the Pet Supplies Plus in Round Rock from noon to 2 p.m. Please check our website for exact dates.

Transportation

Pete is located in the immediate Austin area. We are only able to adopt our dogs to those living within the immediate Austin area due to our thorough adoption process, which includes home visits and a trial adoption period.
