Meet Red, a charming 3-year-old Cattle Dog mix who weighs about 50 pounds. Red's world was turned upside down when his beloved owner passed away, but he found solace and a new beginning with a compassionate neighbor who rescues animals. He's been thriving in their care and is now ready to find his forever family.

Red is a bundle of energy and enthusiasm, always up for an adventure! He loves to play with other dogs, explore the yard, and discover new things. But don't let his playful spirit fool you; Red is also a total lovebug who enjoys snuggling up and receiving affection. He's mastering indoor living and has a unique way of greeting people – standing up and leaning in for a loving embrace! He's also crate and potty trained and will give you a little whine when he needs to go outside.

Ideal Home

Red would thrive in an active home where he can continue to learn, play, and be a cherished member of the family. He has done well with other dogs and has been friendly with neighborhood children.

Training & Support

Red knows basic commands like "sit" and "lay down." He is still working on his leash training, as he didn't have much experience before entering foster care, but he is eager to learn and please.
