Trip

Meet Trip, an 8-year-old, 19-pound Chihuahua mix who has had a bit of a bumpy start but is ready for his forever home! Trip was originally surrendered by a family with young children, but he has since shown he does wonderfully with adults and older children. He's also lived harmoniously with both cats and dogs, making him a flexible addition to many households.

Ideal Home

Trip would be a perfect companion for a less active human, though he does enjoy his daily walks. While he can be vocal and will bark to alert you to 'danger,' he's not a fan of toddlers grabbing him on the head. An adult-only home or one with older children would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Trip is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

This handsome fellow is practically perfect! He is house-trained, house-safe, and rides well in the car. Trip knows a wide range of obedience commands. He does tend to pull on leash, but with a front-fastening harness and some consistent direction changes from an experienced walker, this can be managed.
