Diesel

Diesel is a handsome gentleman who is close to 8 years old and has been patiently waiting for his forever home for nearly four years. He was found as a stray and, for much of his time with us, has been a bit apprehensive towards people. However, as he's gotten older, Diesel has learned to trust and love some of the ARL staff and volunteers. He's formed a particularly special bond with a new volunteer, showing his true playful, curious, and eager-to-learn personality when he's with them. Seeing him blossom with this positive attention has been incredibly rewarding, and we know there's a special human out there who can bring out the best in him. Diesel is a loving companion who deserves to experience the joy of his own home.

Ideal Home

Diesel would do best as the only dog in the home.

Ongoing Health

Diesel is neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and has tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee includes these services, as well as a microchip and registration.

Training & Support

Diesel has been noted as not being house-trained. We are hopeful that with a dedicated owner and consistent routine, he can learn this skill.
