Quincy

Quincy is a young Bull Terrier mix with a huge heart and enough energy to keep you on your toes! After arriving from California in December, he was recently returned to the shelter when the match just wasn't the right fit. Like many dogs, Quincy can be a little unsure in new environments and is selective with some men, but patience, treats, and a gentle approach help him build confidence quickly. Quincy enjoys playing with the other dogs at the shelter, though he can be a bit possessive of toys and will benefit from continued training in that area. He's also working hard on his potty training and is very close to having it mastered. This athletic boy is capable of clearing a six-foot fence if he's motivated, so secure containment and supervision are a must. Quincy is truly a diamond in the rough-smart, eager, and full of potential. He'll thrive with an active family committed to providing plenty of exercise, structure, and positive training. For the right person willing to invest the time, Quincy promises to be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion.
