Lil Man

Lil Man is an absolutely adorable 8 lb, approximately 7-year-old male chihuahua mix who was rescued from a horribly abusive situation. His right back leg was crushed and had to be amputated, but he is gaining strength in his remaining leg and can now run for short distances. He is physically healed but will need a patient owner to help him continue his emotional recovery. Lil Man is still wary of people but will snuggle on his terms – he’ll come to you once he’s comfortable! He gets along with other dogs and a cat.

Ideal Home

Lil Man needs a patient owner to help him with his emotional recovery and a small fenced-in area as he is still frightened by halters and leashes.

Ongoing Health

Lil Man is fully vetted, up to date on vaccinations, neutered, HW negative, and on monthly heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Lil Man is housetrained. He will need continued patience as he recovers emotionally from his past abuse.

• Your current dogs/cats must be spayed or neutered unless a veterinarian has determined that your current pet(s) should not be fixed due to medical reasons. They must also be up-to-date on shots and on HW preventative.
• Reference checks and a home visit are required.

Lil Man is located in NC/SC, VA, TN, AL, MD, and GA and can only be adopted within these states.
