Zydo

Zydo is a handsome, energetic Alaskan Malamute who is estimated to be around 1 year old and weighs 63lbs, with the potential to grow even bigger! He came to us as a stray and is now eagerly searching for his forever family. Zydo is a sweet boy, but he's also a typical Malamute – a bit stubborn and a lot of fun! He has a big personality and is a happy goofball who loves people.

Ideal Home

Zydo would do best in a home without young children, as he can become uneasy with certain touches and is not always tolerant. While he doesn't seem to mind other dogs at the shelter, he will need very slow introductions to any new canine friends. His experience with cats is unknown, so a cat-free home would be ideal.

Ongoing Health

Zydo is already neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped.

Training & Support

As a spirited Malamute, Zydo can be a bit of a challenge to train, but he is eager to learn! He walks okay on a leash but could benefit from work on his basic commands and is not yet confirmed to be housetrained. Patience and consistent positive reinforcement will be key to his success.
