Bunny is a resilient and sweet 3-year-old Pyr/Lab mix, weighing around 45 lbs, who was rescued after facing hardship and hunger in Mississippi. She has blossomed in her foster home and is now ready to find her forever family. Bunny is a delightful companion, described as a "mush ball" with a perfect balance of playful energy and a desire to relax on the couch. She loves walks, exploring with her nose, meeting other dogs, playing with toys, and most of all, being with her people. While she enjoys treats, she truly cherishes pets and belly rubs even more!

Ideal Home

Bunny would do best in a home with older children or adults only, as she can sometimes be a bit nippy when unsure. She is looking for a family who can respect her boundaries and help her continue to build confidence.

Ongoing Health

Bunny has no known health conditions at this time and has been well cared for in her foster home.

Training & Support

Bunny is generally a good girl who listens to instructions and is great in her crate. She is described as being a bit shy initially but warms up quickly, especially with positive reinforcement. Because she can occasionally be a bit nippy when unsure, continued positive training and gentle guidance will help her thrive.
