Meet Roo!

Roo is a spirited and intelligent young pup with all the best qualities of a Cattle Dog! She's eager to be involved in everything you do and is always ready for the next adventure. Roo is approximately 4 months old and weighs about 19lbs as of July 10th. She's a smart cookie and a loyal companion, sure to stick by your side through thick and thin.

Ideal Home

Roo needs an experienced Cattle Dog owner who understands the commitment to both physical and mental exercise that this breed requires. She is not a good fit for first-time dog owners or apartment living. An active lifestyle with plenty of opportunities for enrichment is a must. A fenced yard is required. She would absolutely thrive with another playful, energetic dog who can match her energy and provide a great outlet for her playful spirit.

Training & Support

Roo is mostly house-trained and fully crate-trained. While she's not a fan of going into her crate initially, she settles down quickly and does well once inside. She is not destructive, especially when her mind and body are kept busy. Continued training and commitment to her needs will help her reach her full potential.

Transportation

Roo is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas. She is available for adoption and transport to many areas across the country. Her adoption fee includes transport, and there's a good chance we have a transport stop near you!
