Arthur

Arthur is a handsome 4-year-old Great Pyrenees with white and black coloring. He came to us in rough shape and has now transferred to our care. Like King Arthur, he has pulled the sword from the stone and is ready to establish his kingdom and take his seat with his fellow knights of the Doggy Round Table. He was found to be positive for heartworm and in need of surgery for a large bladder stone. He is receiving all the care he needs while in foster care and will soon be ready to help rule your kingdom at your side. Arthur enjoys lying on top of the kennel roof where he can keep an eye on things. He enjoys the company of other dogs and we are seeking an audience with cats and kids to see what he likes about them.

Ideal Home

Arthur and all the dogs in our program deserve homes with people who care and are willing to provide them with love, a place in a family, food, and proper care.

Ongoing Health

Arthur was positive for heartworm and will be receiving treatment. He also required surgery for a large bladder stone. He is receiving all necessary medical care while in foster care.

Training & Support

Arthur enjoys the company of other dogs. His preferences for cats and children are still being assessed.
