Knight is a handsome 50-pound Aussie mix with striking mismatched eyes, a heart full of sweetness, and a spirit that shines with resilience. This wonderful boy is a tripod, but that doesn't slow him down one bit! He loves to play, explore, and embrace life with enthusiasm.
He can be a bit shy initially, especially around men, but with a little patience and understanding, he blossoms into a confident companion. Knight is sensitive about his head and neck being touched at first, so his new family will need to earn his trust by giving him space to feel safe. Once he knows he's in good hands, his true, friendly, and loving personality emerges. He truly enjoys being with his people and has a playful, active mind, though the shelter environment has made it a bit challenging for him to fully express himself right now.
Knight shows interest in other dogs and seems to long for canine companionship. He'd likely do best with a gentle, respectful dog friend who can offer friendship and encouragement without being too boisterous. He's shown mild curiosity towards cats, so a dog-savvy or independent feline companion would likely be a good fit. Older, respectful children would also be suitable, as long as they understand Knight's need to adjust at his own pace.
