Meet Wesley! This one-year-old American Bully mix is a true testament to resilience, with soulful amber eyes and a heart full of love to give. His handsome, compact build, velvety fawn coat, and expressive face are just the start of his charm. Though he may have a sturdy exterior, Wesley's heart is pure sweetness.
Wesley's journey has been incredibly tough. He survived gunshot trauma that severely injured both his hind legs. Thankfully, his rescue team dedicated themselves to his recovery, opting for full orthopedic repair, including fracture repair and hip reconstruction. He's now healing beautifully and his prognosis is very good with continued care.
Despite his past, Wesley is incredibly affectionate. He adores belly rubs, leans into his people for affection, and soaks up every bit of attention. He enjoys lounging in the sun outdoors and calmly observing his surroundings. His temperament is gentle, trusting, and very people-focused.
