Meet Kota! This approximately 6-year-old boy has had a rough start, spending most of his life chained outside after being abandoned. Despite his past, Kota is incredibly resilient and has blossomed in his foster home, eager to snuggle, play fetch, and become a cherished family member. His unique brindle and merle markings are absolutely striking!

Ideal Home

Kota is looking for a home that will continue his healthy diet and supplements, understand his need for regular vet visits to monitor his teeth, gut, and joints, and is ready to spoil him with plenty of toys to carry around!

Ongoing Health

Kota's stomach is a bit sensitive due to past poor nutrition, but it's improving with a consistent, nutritious diet and probiotics. His teeth have been cleaned, and any unhealthy ones were removed, bringing him much-needed comfort. He also has some joint stiffness, for which he is receiving supplements and is expected to improve with regular exercise.

Training & Support

Kota is dog, cat, and kid-friendly, leash-trained, and house-trained. He even seems uninterested in chasing small critters!
