Chance is a 3–4-year-old neutered male Catahoula mix weighing approximately 55–65 pounds. He is heartworm negative, up to date on all vaccinations, and crate trained. This handsome boy barely made it out of the shelter alive and is now getting the second chance he truly deserves. Chance is active, playful, and full of life. He will need a securely fenced yard and either an active family or a well-matched canine playmate to help burn off his energy. He rides well in the car and does not experience anxiety. Chance plays nicely with both male and female dogs who match his energy level. Cats are unknown, but due to his prey drive, a home without cats would likely be best. Chance would do well with a single person, couple, or family with school-age children. He would make an excellent hiking buddy or running partner and would love exploring the outdoors with his people. He is very smart and eager to learn, with the potential to master anything you’re willing to teach him. Chance just needs someone willing to take a chance on him—and in return, he’ll be a loyal, fun-loving forever companion.
