Meet Paris — a gentle soul with the sweetest heart! At 6 years old and 38 lbs, this beautiful Lab mix has so much love to give and all she wants is to be close to her people. Paris is affectionate, calm, and incredibly loyal. She loves human companionship and will happily stay by your side, whether you’re going for a walk, relaxing at home, or enjoying a sunny afternoon together — one of her favorite things is sunbathing peacefully in the warmth. She has a moderate energy level: excited and happy to go on walks with volunteers, but also calm and relaxed in her kennel with her dog friends. Paris’s story is heartbreaking. She was abandoned in front of a market and stood in the exact same spot for hours, faithfully waiting for the people who never came back for her. A local neighbor noticed she had not moved all day and knew she would not survive alone on the streets. He brought her to our rescue partner, SOS el Arca Animal Rescue. At first, Paris was confused and deeply sad. She barely ate and struggled to understand why she had been left behind. But over time, her gentle spirit began to shine again. Sadly, Paris has now spent more than 2 years in the shelter, overlooked again and again while puppies are chosen first. As an adult dog, she keeps getting passed by — but we know her perfect family is out there. Paris is the kind of dog who will quietly change your life with her loyalty, sweetness, and loving nature. She has already experienced abandonment once — now she deserves the safety and love of a forever home.
