Plum is a 2-year-old, 35lb Aussie x Heeler mix who is bursting with intelligence, drive, and enthusiasm for life. Months in a kennel have taken a toll, and she's ready for a home that understands the heart and mind of a cattle dog. She is spayed, heartworm negative, and incredibly dog social, though her rough-and-tumble play style might be a bit much for more sensitive dogs. Plum thrives on activity, engagement, and having an outlet for her physical energy and busy Heeler brain. Volunteers believe she is highly trainable and eager to learn, needing someone willing to invest time to teach her about life outside the shelter.

Ideal Home

Plum is looking for an adult-only home or a home with older, dog-savvy teens due to her herding instincts and tendency to nip. She would not be a good fit for cats or other small animals.

Plum is spayed and heartworm negative.

Training & Support
