Daisy Sue is a 2-year-old, spayed female, 35-pound Pointer/Australian Cattle dog mix with a heart full of love and a spirit ready for adventure! She was rescued from a high-kill shelter after her previous owners returned her, and now she's looking for her forever family to give her the second chance she so deserves. Daisy Sue, affectionately nicknamed "Dollop of Daisy," is a playful, cuddly, and happy-go-lucky pup who brings joy to everyone she meets. She loves a good game of zoomies and is always up for some affectionate cuddles.
Ideal Home
Daisy Sue would thrive in an active home that can provide her with daily walks, playtime with another dog, or a securely fenced yard where she can safely burn off energy. She would also appreciate a calm environment with a predictable routine, as she can be a bit shy when meeting new people, especially men. Children 10 years or older who understand how to respectfully interact with a shy dog would be a great fit. While she's not destructive, it's best to keep shoes put away as she finds them fascinating!
Ongoing Health
Daisy Sue has no known health conditions and has been spayed.
Training & Support
Daisy Sue is a smart and well-mannered girl who is fully house-trained, walks beautifully on leash, and is crate-trained. She has no issues with resource guarding and shares her toys and treats politely. Her food motivation makes her eager to learn, but she may initially be shy with new people. With patience, gentle voices, and some space, she warms up and reveals her affectionate nature.
