Baker Buddy is a truly wonderful companion, with a perpetually happy disposition and a smile that will melt your heart! He's about a year old, around 46 lbs, and suspected to be a Pittie/Lab mix. Baker approaches every moment with infectious enthusiasm, whether he's playing with a favorite squeaky toy, exploring the yard, or making new friends. He's a social butterfly who gets along famously with other dogs, enjoying gentle play and chase games. Baker is also respectful and friendly towards cats, showing a calm demeanor around them. He's a smart boy who loves treats and is eager to please, already knowing "sit" and enjoying learning new things. He walks well on a leash with minor redirection needed when he gets excited. Baker is crate and house trained, and with his foundational skills, he's ready to jump right into family life. He adores spending time outdoors and would be happiest in a home with a backyard to explore and play.

Training & Support
Baker is crate trained, potty trained, and knows how to sit. He is eager to learn and will benefit from continued training and consistency. He walks well on leash, with occasional pulling when excited, but is easily redirected.

Transporation
Baker is currently located at our Texas facility. We offer nationwide transport through our USDA-certified rescue transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). A $87 surcharge applies for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
