Laverne

Laverne is a sweet, shy, and playful young dog who is blossoming into a jovial and kind-hearted companion. She arrived at the rescue heavily pregnant and, sadly, her litter proved too large for her to birth safely. An emergency spay was performed to save her life. Once unburdened, Laverne, who was estimated to be around 10 months old, has rapidly transformed from timid to a wriggly youngster. While she's not the boldest, her bright spirit and rolly-polly antics are sure to bring smiles. She has shown excellent manners in her kennel, suggesting she'll master housetraining with ease, and she walks gently on a leash, happiest close to her human. Laverne's story started bleak, but the sky is truly the limit for this beautiful girl with the ever-so-slightly crossed eyes.
