Waffles McGee (Duece)

Waffles McGee, a charming Staffordshire Mix, is a 1-year and 7-month-old male who has clearly overcome some challenges. Despite a difficult past, he remains an incredibly hopeful and affectionate dog. He greets everyone with a gentle wag, walks beautifully on a leash, and his greatest desire is to be by your side. Waffles has a wonderfully goofy and lovable personality that's sure to bring smiles, and he bounces with a boundless capacity for love. He's currently on a journey of healing, both physically and emotionally, and is patiently waiting for a special person who can see the amazing dog he is becoming, beyond his initial struggles.

Ideal Home

Waffles would thrive in a home with a confident and patient owner who can provide him with structure, love, and the time he needs to decompress. An owner who understands strong, loyal breeds and is ready for a devoted companion would be ideal. Older children are recommended for his household.

Waffles McGee is neutered, vaccinated (Rabies, Bordetella, DA2PP), and microchipped. He is currently heartworm positive, and this is being actively addressed. Potential adopters will be provided with guidance on his ongoing treatment.

Training & Support

He walks nicely on a leash and is likely to be a good candidate for crate training with a consistent routine. While he is unknown with cats, he is selective with dogs and will require proper introductions.
