After the day winds down, Hunter settles onto the couch (extra large please) with his beloved blanket and lets out a dramatic sigh worthy of an award-winning actor. It's the kind of sigh that says, "Wow... being this handsome and loved is exhausting."

Honestly, Hunter approaches naps with the dedication most people reserve for their jobs.
How proud he looks when you ask him to "sit" or "stay." The way he avoids drama, chaos, and unnecessary excitement whenever possible. Loud environments aren't really his thing, but cozy evenings at home with his people? That's Hunter's version of paradise.
Some dogs just fit into your life naturally... like they were always meant to be there.
Hunter is that kind of dog.
His perfect home would be with a laid-back older couple or grandparents whose grandkids are old enough to understand and respect his space. Hunter prefers peaceful days over busy households and would much rather enjoy a quiet morning coffee on the porch than a house full of chaos.
As a fee-based adoption rescue, we do not operate on monthly support or fund raisers. Our adoption fee is $350, and transport is arranged for post-adoption. The fee is tax-deductible, as we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Should you choose to arrange your own transport, the adoption fee remains the same. Thank you for your valuable support.
