Riggs

Riggs is a nine-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who came to us from a hoarding situation. While the dogs were cared for, Riggs is still learning about everyday life due to a lack of socialization. He is a sweet, gentle, and shy boy who prefers a calm environment and time to adjust. Riggs gets along well with other dogs and cats, and would benefit from a confident canine companion in his new home to show him the ropes. He'll also need a securely fenced yard, as he can be startled by loud noises and sudden commotion. For this sensitive soul, we believe children over 10 years old would be the best fit, as he prefers a quiet household free from excessive noise and roughhousing.

Ideal Home

Riggs would thrive in a calm, laid-back home with a resident dog and a securely fenced yard. He prefers a consistent indoor temperature of around 72 degrees and is not a fan of loud noises or sudden disturbances, so the Fourth of July is likely not his favorite holiday.
