Tucker Bailey

Meet Tucker Bailey, a charming 6-year-old miniature poodle weighing in at a petite 13 pounds. Tucker's journey to Camo Rescue began when he was found wandering as a stray and his owner no longer wanted him. After a much-needed groom to fix his matting, Tucker felt like a brand-new pup! He was adopted but is now looking for his forever home again due to a new baby in the family. Tucker is a smart and loving dog who enjoys conversation, especially when he can "talk" back to you with growls and barks accompanied by a wagging tail. He knows "sit" and "lay down," and is a great companion who loves to be near his people.

Ideal Home

Tucker would thrive best in an adult-only household or one with children who understand his need for boundaries and a slow introduction. He would prefer a more relaxed atmosphere where he can explore the yard at his own pace or hang out with his human companions. Due to past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs.

Ongoing Health

Tucker is up to date on vaccines, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Tucker is crate trained and has excellent house training habits. He knows not to charge into the house and waits for his feet to be wiped or washed. He's a foodie and performs tricks for treats, and is also great on a leash. Tucker has nipped in the past when people got too close to the baby, but this behavior has been managed and he hasn't had an incident in over 6 months. Continued consistency around boundaries is recommended.

Tucker is currently in our care at Camo Rescue. Transportation options may be available and can be discussed during the application process.
