Bear

Tiny baby "Bear" is an 8-week-old Australian Shepherd mix who is as sweet as can be, currently just a bit bigger than your hand. His momma was also an Australian Shepherd mix, and we're not sure about dad, but we expect Bear to be around 35lbs when fully grown. He loves to play, gets along wonderfully with his siblings, and hasn't shown any signs of food aggression. Bear is a true baby, ready to be shaped into the perfect companion for his forever family.

Ongoing Health

Bear will come to you spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations (for his age), and current on preventatives. He will also receive an additional exam and health certificate from a state-licensed veterinarian prior to travel. He will be bathed prior to adoption. You will also receive a FREE GPS Tracker from Fi with a 6-month subscription.

Training & Support

Bear is a young puppy and is ready to learn.

Application Details:

• Applications start by contacting us through Wags.
• The adoption fee is $400, which helps cover vetting costs.
• If transport is chosen, there is an additional $175 transport fee.

Transporation

Bear is currently located in Lucedale, MS, at our shelter, Rise & Shine Rescue. He is available for transport to the North, with arrival expected 1-2 days after his July 31st departure, depending on your pickup location. Alternatively, you can fly into Mobile, AL, or Gulfport, MS, and a team member will meet you at the airport. You are also welcome to pick Bear up in person at our shelter at no additional cost.
