Darren Dixon

Hi there! My name is Darren, but my foster mom calls me Dixon. I'm a handsome Lab Retriever Mix, about 55lbs, and my estimated birthday is November 25, 2024. My foster mom says I deserved a fresh start after a tough time, and I'm working hard every day to show her she made the right decision! When I first arrived, I was a bit shy, but with patience and space, I've settled in beautifully. I love playing with the younger dog here and get along well with the older one too. The kids are my absolute favorite, and I'm still working on making friends with the cat!

Ideal Home

I'm looking for a family to cherish me forever. A home with another playful dog to romp with would be the cherry on top!

Ongoing Health

I'm currently undergoing treatment for my skin, and my foster mom gives me medicated baths each week to help my fur grow back. She says I look a little like a werewolf, but her massages make up for it!

Training & Support

I'm a smart boy who knows how to sit, shake, and even has a special "pray" trick that will melt your heart! I also love gently nudging my foster mom for attention. I'm kennel trained and see my kennel as a safe space where good things happen.
