Ranger

Ranger is an extroverted, attention-loving guy with a sweet, sensitive soul. He's a pro at the groomer and knows his basic obedience cues. His favorite activity is playing fetch with his ball, and he's always up for an adventure, including car rides! Ranger can be quiet during the workday, and while he used to experience separation anxiety, he's learned to settle into his crate or relax on the couch when his foster mom is away. A snuggle puppy stuffed animal with a heartbeat has been a great comfort to him in his crate. He also sleeps in his crate at night. Ranger has shown some noise sensitivity, which may have been due to stress.

Ideal Home

Ranger would do best as an only dog due to resource guarding. While he hasn't been around children, it's recommended that any children in the home be 8 years or older, as he can get excited about toys and is still learning the "drop it" cue. A patient family who will love him unconditionally is ideal. He'd love to snuggle up on the couch, play fetch, and join in on adventures and car rides. A fenced yard or farmland would be a bonus for playtime.
