Princesa is a 2-year-old, 27 lb. Belgian Shepherd Mix who is as sweet and affectionate as can be! She's a young, playful, and cheerful girl who loves to engage with her toys and shower her humans with hugs. Princesa is very social and enjoys exploring new environments with boundless enthusiasm. She had a rough start in life, being abandoned as a puppy and spending a night alone before being rescued. Thankfully, she found a loving foster home where she began to thrive. Now, Princesa is ready to find her forever family where she can continue to be the joyful and loving dog she has always been. She does bark to let you know when she hears noises or wants something.
Ideal Home
Princesa would do best in a home where she can continue to explore and receive plenty of affection. She is not good with cats. She also prefers to eat her meals peacefully without another dog approaching her food.
Ongoing Health
Princesa is spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on all her vaccinations, including DHPPI, Rabies, and Bordetella. She has been dewormed and tested negative for heartworm. She is also on monthly preventive medication for fleas, ticks, and heartworm.
Training & Support
It's important to understand that rescue dogs like Princesa may require an adjustment period. Patience and understanding are crucial as she adapts to a new environment and builds trust. While she is not house-trained, providing a safe and loving environment with a consistent routine and clear boundaries will help her feel secure and thrive.
