Morty Mello is a 6-year-old, 75 lb pittie mix who is the epitome of a couch potato. He's a gentle giant with a teddy bear face and a soul as cozy as a throw pillow. Morty embodies a relaxed approach to life, making him the perfect companion for anyone who enjoys quiet companionship and low-key living. He's happy to just be near his people, offering a calming presence and an abundance of affection. Morty is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other calm dogs, but he would also be content as the sole canine in the household. He would do best in a home without cats.

Ideal Home

Morty would love a home with a backyard where he can relax and enjoy the sunshine. He's also adaptable and could do well in an apartment setting. He would do best with another dog his size that shares his calm demeanor, but he doesn't require a canine companion. He would prefer a cat-free home.

Morty's health is up-to-date, and he is ready for his forever home.

Training & Support

Morty has wonderful house manners and is fully potty trained. He walks beautifully on leash and is quiet in his crate, making him an excellent companion for work-from-home or leisurely strolls.

Transporation

Morty is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide via our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. There is an $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
