Wisteria

Wisteria is a sweet, shy, and spunky shepherd and terrier mix looking for her forever home. She's estimated to be about 6 months old and weighed 13 lbs as of July 5, 2026. Wisteria loves playing outside, especially at the dog park where she's brave and playful with dogs of all sizes. She's also discovering her voice and makes the cutest "awooo" sounds! Inside, she loves to snuggle on the couch and is good with kittens. Wisteria and her sister Wynne have enjoyed growing up together, but now she's ready to find her own special family. She promises to give all the love and loyalty in return for a safe and loving home.

Ideal Home

Wisteria needs a home with a resident dog who can help her learn the ropes and build confidence. She's a bit shy right now, but her foster mom says she's doing well with kittens. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements for multiple potty breaks and exercise throughout the day, as puppies under 6 months require this.

Ongoing Health

Wisteria has received age-appropriate vaccines, but adopters are responsible for ensuring she completes her full vaccination series. Until fully vaccinated, she is at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.

Training & Support

Wisteria will need continued house training and obedience school to become a well-socialized dog. With time, patience, and confidence-building, she will blossom into a wonderful and loving companion.
