Meet Scout! This handsome 7-year-old, 100 lb boy is a bundle of energy and fun. Scout is a master of fetch and will happily chase anything you throw, and he's always up for a game of tug-of-war! He gets along wonderfully with other female dogs, ready to play until they've had their fill. Scout walks well on a leash, though his excitement for new sights and smells might mean he pulls a bit – with a little consistency and gentle correction, he'll master the art of a relaxed walk. He absolutely adores attention and is a big softie who loves to give and receive affection. Scout is crate trained and ready to be your active companion for all your outdoor adventures.
Ideal Home
Scout would thrive in an active home with someone who enjoys spending time outdoors. He does well with female dogs and would likely do well with an adopter who can provide consistent training and guidance.
Ongoing Health
Scout is up-to-date on his vaccines and is microchipped. He has not yet been spayed, and SNARR requires a $150 spay/neuter deposit along with a contract to have him altered within 6 months of adoption. This deposit will be refunded upon fulfillment of the contract.
Training & Support
Scout is crate trained and enjoys playing. He can be a bit of a puller on leash due to excitement, but this can be managed with consistency and correction. He's a big boy who needs some manners and would benefit from ongoing positive reinforcement training.

Scout is currently with a foster in Texas. Transportation will be arranged once an adoption is finalized.
