Gracie

Meet Gracie, an almost 6-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback mix who is as loyal as she is loving! Gracie has graduated from a training program, including a 3-week board and train, and is eager to find her forever family. While she might be a little timid at first, a few tasty treats and some gentle encouragement will reveal her sweet and affectionate nature. She adores human touch and attention, happily cuddling up with her favorite people. Gracie enjoys watching and chasing squirrels in the yard, and she knows commands like sit, place, leave it, and break.

Ideal Home

Gracie would do best as the only dog in the home, as she tends to want to be the alpha. She has had positive experiences with children, provided they are respectful of her space and allow her to warm up to them at her own pace. Due to her high prey drive, Gracie should not be placed in a home with cats, as she may view them as toys.

Ongoing Health

Gracie is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Gracie is obedience trained and knows several commands. She benefits from positive reinforcement and patience, especially in new situations.
