Meet Pepe Le Pew! He's a 9-week-old (estimated DOB March 2026), male Chihuahua/Terrier mix, weighing in at about 3 pounds, but he's still growing! Pepe and his siblings were found abandoned on the streets of Houston, and thankfully, they've been rescued and are now in a loving foster home in Austin, Texas. Pepe is the masked bandit of his litter, always on the lookout for a chew stick to sneak away with. He's on the smaller side but is full of love and charm, preferring cozy snuggles and puppy kisses over causing trouble. He's a gentle soul who adores naps and would much rather cuddle than fight.
Ideal Home
Pepe is looking for a family ready to help him grow into a confident, well-mannered dog. He's showing himself to be brave and social, and we believe he'll do well with kids, cats, and other dogs, provided gentle introductions and supervision. Because of his tiny size, any resident pets should be gentle and experienced with very small dogs. Pepe cannot be left alone for long periods, so homes where someone is present most of the time are ideal. If you work outside the home for more than 4 hours, a second adult in the household must be available to care for him during the day.
Ongoing Health
Pepe is a healthy puppy with no known ongoing health conditions.
Training & Support
Like all puppies his age, Pepe is still working on potty training and crate training. His new family should be prepared to continue consistent training with positive reinforcement and lots of patience. Puppies thrive with structure, routine, and supervision, and Pepe is no exception.

Transporation
Pepe is currently in a foster home in Austin, Texas. He is able to transport once he is matched with an adopter. Transports run every few weeks.
