Meet Tula Baloola!
Tula is a joyful, almost four-year-old Boxer/American Pitbull Terrier mix with a lively spirit and a sleek black coat with a bright white chest patch. This medium-sized girl weighs about 50 pounds and greets everyone with full-body tail wags, happy wiggles, and an enthusiastic "arrrooooo!" She loves playtime, especially fetch, followed by snuggles with her favorite humans. After a day of activity, she happily curls up beside her person for cozy rest, sometimes sharing soft snores. Tula is smart, attentive, and eager to learn with positive reinforcement. She already knows sit, down, leave it, and focus, and has excellent recall. Her velcro-style affection means she loves staying close to her people, whether on a car ride, an adventure, or relaxing at home.
Ideal Home
Tula needs a home without cats or small animals due to her strong prey drive. She would thrive in a caring environment with an active individual or family who enjoys daily adventures.
Ongoing Health
Tula can sometimes become reactive when separated from other dogs by barriers, particularly when dogs pass by a chain link fence. In those moments her excitement and frustration can bubble over, and she has occasionally redirected that energy toward the other resident dog. The interactions have not caused injury, and the other dog has responded with appropriate communication, helping guide those moments. With thoughtful management and continued positive reinforcement, Tula continues learning calmer ways to handle these situations.
Training & Support
Tula is smart, attentive, and eager to learn with positive reinforcement. She already knows sit, down, leave it, and focus, and has excellent recall. Continued positive reinforcement will help her manage reactivity around other dogs when separated by barriers.

Transporation
