Tux Fancy Pants

Meet Tux Fancy Pants, the world's most dashing gentleman in a built-in tuxedo! With his shiny black coat, floppy ears, and a smile that could melt a glacier, Tux is the perfect blend of handsome, goofy, and heart-meltingly sweet. He's about a year and a half old, a Lab/Pitty mix (our best rescue guess!), and basically a walking ray of sunshine wrapped in fur. Tux is a lover, not a fighter. He is happiest when he is near his people and getting as many cuddles, belly rubs, and compliments as possible. He's a total snuggle bug who thinks being close to you is the best thing ever. You will often find him leaning his whole body against you for pets or flopping onto his back with his paws in the air, just begging for tummy scratches.

Ideal Home

Tux is hoping for a home with a fenced yard where he can stretch his legs, do his silly zoomies, and roll around in the grass. Apartments are not really his thing. He would also be thrilled to have a chill canine buddy to hang with, especially one who loves to play and romp around the yard.

Training & Support

Tux is working on his leash skills and prefers open spaces over city sidewalks. He is potty trained and sleeps through the night, with excellent manners once he's settled in.

This pet is located in Texas. Transport is available nationwide through our rescue's USDA certified transport system. Drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies for transport. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
