Chunk

Chunk, affectionately known as Moo, is a gentle giant who was surrendered when his family had to move. He's struggling to understand his new circumstances and would love a family to help him feel secure again. Chunk is a sweet boy who can be a bit shy when meeting new people, but he quickly warms up and enjoys exploring the yard. He's good on a leash and loves his walks, but his favorite activity is rolling over for belly rubs! He sometimes forgets his size and will try to snuggle into your lap like a much smaller pup.

Chunk would be a wonderful companion for a family that is patient and willing to work with his shyness, allowing him to adjust at his own pace.

Chunk is neutered and vaccinated.

Training & Support

Chunk is house-trained and knows basic commands. He enjoys his walks and would benefit from continued positive reinforcement to build his confidence.

Chunk is located at the Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center in Cape May Court House, NJ. Transportation assistance may be available to approved adopters within a reasonable distance.
