Al is a 2.5-year-old pup brimming with love and personality! He was rescued from a high-kill shelter after his previous family surrendered him. Now, Al is searching for a forever home where he can enjoy playing fetch, being close to his humans, and simply being his happy self.
While Al can be a bit timid, he is incredibly loving and thrives on affection. He's happiest when he's soaking up attention from his people. He absolutely adores toys, especially for a game of fetch, and will gladly be your playtime pal before curling up for some well-deserved snuggles on the couch. He's happy in a home with or without other dogs, as long as he receives the love he craves.
Al is already potty trained and crate trained. He knows commands and is generally a quiet pup, only barking occasionally when the UPS truck arrives. He is very food-motivated, which makes him a great candidate for continued training! He enjoys being around his humans and is content to relax on the couch with the family after playtime.
Al is about 25 lbs, neutered, microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He is kept up-to-date on heartworm and flea preventatives.
Ideal Home
Al would thrive in a home that can provide him with plenty of affection and playtime. Yards, if any, MUST BE adequately and fully fenced; electric or underground fences are not accepted.
Ongoing Health
Al is up-to-date on all vetting, including DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and he is on heartworm and flea preventatives.
Training & Support
Al is potty trained, crate trained, and knows commands. He is not a barker, except for the occasional delivery person! His strong food motivation is a great asset for ongoing training.

Transportation
Al is currently being fostered in Houston, Texas, but can travel to any state, even Canada, to the right home. Out-of-town transport fees can vary between $150 - $350 depending on the destination.
