Cami is a shy but sweet-natured Terrier/Lab mix who recently celebrated her first birthday on January 28th. Weighing around 30-35 pounds, she's a special girl who needs a loving and very patient home to help her feel safe and blossom. Her sister was adopted recently, and Cami has become a bit more reserved since then. She absolutely adores other dogs and truly shines when she has a canine friend to play with, so a home with another playful dog would be ideal. Cami would also do well with dedicated one-on-one attention. She's looking for a quiet environment and would be happiest with children over 14 years old.
Ideal Home
Cami would thrive in a quiet home with a fenced yard, as she can be a flight risk, especially when she's still learning to trust her new family. She needs a home with another playful dog to bring out her confident side. Children in the home should be 14 years or older.
Ongoing Health
Cami is spayed, vaccinated (DHLPPx3, Bordetella and Rabies), dewormed, and on monthly flea/tick/heartworm prevention. A health certificate and exam will be performed less than 10 days prior to transport.
Training & Support
Cami needs some work on leash walking. She is not housebroken, but she does not go to the bathroom in her crate at night. Her shy nature means she will benefit from a patient and understanding family as she learns to trust.
