About Comet Good Shepherd

Comet is a 4-month-old German Shepherd pup who, at first glance, might seem a bit reserved. With his handsome black coat, tan paws, and a charming little white spot on his chest and chin, he's the quiet observer of his litter. Comet came to us from the Galveston shelter with his siblings and has blossomed in a foster home, learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and part of a family routine. He prefers to take his time warming up to new people and environments, but once he feels comfortable and trusts you, his gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal side shines through. He enjoys snuggling close and being near his favorite humans.

Ideal Home

Comet will thrive in a patient, consistent, and gentle home environment. He is not the puppy who demands immediate attention, but rather the one who builds a profound connection over time.

Ongoing Health

Comet has received all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations and deworming. He has also been microchipped.

Training & Support

Comet is kennel trained and sleeps through the night. He is adjusting well to home life and is comfortable around other dogs and adults. He is learning to manage his excitement around food and treats, and while he is sensitive to corrections, he is making steady progress with the right guidance.
