About REX, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, a volunteer FAV

Rex, a.k.a Rexie the Bestie, is a bubbly, outgoing 68lb Black Lab mix with an estimated birthday in September 2020. He's tall, dark, and handsome, and absolutely loves to run, play, and sit for treats. Rex craves validation that he's a good boy and showers his people with guaranteed kisses. He's a snuggler at heart, believing he's a lap dog despite his nearly 70lb frame, and easily climbs into laps for comfort. Rex was rescued as a stray after a difficult start in life, but he's now ready to find his forever person/people to share all his love with. He has done exceptionally well at adoption events, happily socializing with visitors and even accompanying volunteers to dog-friendly restaurants.

Ideal Home

Rex would thrive in a home where he can get plenty of love and attention.

Ongoing Health

Rex is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and neutered.

Training & Support

Rex is kennel and potty trained. He is dog selective, friendly with female dogs, and warms up to new acquaintances with proper introductions.
